Activity Guide: Golf Courses
Four excellent golf courses are located in Summit County with another seven
in the Vail Valley. Each course has exceptional scenery, and plenty of challenging
holes as would be expected in this high alpine environment. Most of the courses place
an emphasis on accuracy as land for golf courses is scarce in these high mountain valleys
which leads to tight fairways. If your driver is accurate you'll enjoy seeing the ball
fly great distances from the reduced air resistance at the course elevations that
range from 7,500ft to 9,600 ft.

Designed by Pete and Perry Dye, the course winds throughout Copper Mountain Resort.
The public may reserve tee times up to four days in advance. Copper Mountain Resort
